iPSC Culture Protocol Videos

Watch our iPSC culture protocol videos听to learn how to culture iPSCs and iPSC-derived neural cells.

English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish videos are available now, with more languages coming soon!

At the EDDU, we developed a method with microfabricated disk (EB disk-948 from eNUVIO) to scale up the generation of hMOs (human midbrain organoids). This opens up the possibility to generate larger numbers of hMOs, in a manner that minimizes the amount of labor required, while decreasing variability and maintaining the viability of these hMOs over time.

This video will describe the methodology to generate hMOs from a single EB-Disk containing 948 microwells.

The Neuro鈥檚 EDDU is also pleased to share our updated 鈥痯rotocol for generating dopaminergic neurons from鈥 iPSCs through the use of听a鈥 Microfabricated EB Disk.听You can access the protocol here:听

How to Access iPSCs

At the EDDU we have a catalogue of iPSC lines from healthy individuals and from patients with neurological disorders that can be freely accessed for a small fee. Our cells are for experimental use only.

How to access the iPSC catalogue:

  • Click 鈥淥pen data access鈥 as login
  • Select at the top-left 鈥淥pen data鈥 tab
  • Click 鈥渋PSC catalogue鈥

To access the cells, please cbig.mni [at] mcgill.ca (C-BIG). Click for further instructions on accessing cells.

To learn more about how the cells are made or for general inquiries, please email xiuqing.chen [at] mcgill.ca (Carol Chen) and taylor.goldsmith [at] mcgill.ca ( Taylor Goldsmith).
