Elle est Ă©galement la chercheuse principale du groupe de recherche sur l’État de droit et le dĂ©veloppement Ă©conomique. ĚýLa professeure Ramanujam est par ailleurs la reprĂ©sentante pour Ć˝ĚŘÎ岻ÖĐ du RĂ©seauĚýScholars at RiskĚýet a siĂ©gĂ© au comitĂ© directeur du Scholars at Risk Network, section Canada, de 2016 Ă 22.
Les intĂ©rĂŞts de recherche et d’enseignement de Nandini Ramanujam incluent l’État de droit et le dĂ©veloppement, les institutions et la gouvernance, la justice Ă©conomique, la sĂ©curitĂ© et la sĂ»retĂ© alimentaires, le rĂ´le de la sociĂ©tĂ© civile et des mĂ©dias dans la promotion de l’État de droit, ainsi que l’exploration des interconnexions entre des travaux sur le terrain portant sur les droits de la personne et les discours thĂ©oriques.Ěý
Elle a été nommée professeure agrégée (professionnelle) à la Faculté de droit en avril 2014, puis élevée au rang de professeure titulaire (professionnelle) en juin 2020. En 2021, elle a été nommée co-directrice du CDPPJ.
Avant de rejoindre la FacultĂ© de droit de Ć˝ĚŘÎ岻ÖĐ, Nandini Ramanujam s’est intĂ©ressĂ©e Ă la rĂ©forme systĂ©mique de l’éducation supĂ©rieure dans les anciens États communistes de l’Europe de l’Est et l’Union SoviĂ©tique, notamment l’UniversitĂ© d’Asie Centrale Aga Khan et Smolny College Ă St Petersburg. Elle a Ă©tĂ© la directrice du programme de soutien pour l’éducation supĂ©rieure de l’Open Society Institute Ă Budapest et la directrice rĂ©gionale des programmes baltiques et eurasiens du projet d’éducation civique.
Nandini Ramanujam a beaucoup d'expĂ©rience en matière de droits de la personne, de planification stratĂ©gique, de gouvernance et programmation, en particulier sur les questions d’éducation et de la sociĂ©tĂ© civile. Elle s’est impliquĂ©e dans le dĂ©veloppement de planifications stratĂ©giques pour des institutions de dĂ©fense des droits de l’homme, notamment le centre cambodgien des droits de la personne et le rĂ©seau juridique et du handicap de l’Open Society Institute. Elle a siĂ©gĂ© au conseil d'administration de Centraide (grand MontrĂ©al) de 2016 Ă 2022.ĚýElle a Ă©tĂ© nommĂ©e au conseil d'administration de Welcome Collective, MontrĂ©al en 2022.
