Mes int茅r锚ts de recherche incluent la commodification, les approches post-humanistes des relations animaux-humains, ainsi que les liens entre le droit et la culture populaire. Je travaille pr茅sentement 脿 l鈥檃nalyse des mani猫res dont nous nous gouvernons, et 脿 nos obligations les uns envers les autres, en faisant r茅f茅rence aux normes l茅gales qui prennent leurs sources dans la culture populaire plut么t qu鈥檃u sein de l鈥櫭﹖at politique. Je met l鈥檈mphase sur la dystopie critique, plus particuli猫rement sur le genre bio-punk, afin d鈥檈xplorer une compr茅hension discursive du droit comme savoir plut么t que comme un ensemble de r猫gles r茅ifi茅es. Sous cet angle, le droit est compris comme une aspiration normative, une 芦 alternit茅 禄, pour utiliser le terme de Cover, qui nous transporte du monde-tel-qu鈥檌l-est au monde-tel-qu鈥檌l-devrait-锚tre. 芦 Jouer 禄 avec la culture populaire n鈥檈st pas qu鈥檜ne affaire de divertissement. Lorsque nous utilisons la narration fictive pour explorer les possibilit茅s qui s鈥檕uvrent 脿 nous, nous jouons de fa莽on s茅rieuse.
