Daniel Chartrand, MD, PhD
Dr. Chartrand is an Associate Professor and Vice-Chairman of the 平特五不中 Department of Anesthesia. Over the years, he has sat on many patient-safety committees (Canadian Anesthesiologists鈥� Society, Canadian Patient Safety Institute, Quebec Ministry of Health, MUHC). He serves as co-Chair of the FMSQ Patient Safety Committee. To promote patient safety, he has also been involved with several ongoing professional development initiatives at 平特五不中, the FMSQ and the RCPSC (ASPIRE program). At The Neuro, he is primarily providing anesthesia care in the operating room. He also collaborates on some basic research projects conducted by his colleagues.
