I am delighted to announce that Ms. Monique Leroux, C.M., O.Q., FCPA, F.ICD, has taken the reins as Chair of the Neuro Advisory Board since January 1, 2024. With a rich background in corporate leadership and a strong commitment to community service, Ms. Leroux brings a perfect blend of experience and dedication to our mission at The Neuro.
Having previously held prominent positions at Desjardins Group and Investissement Qu茅bec, Ms. Leroux currently serves on the boards of renowned companies like Michelin, BCE/BELL, and COUCHE-TARD. Her leadership extends beyond business into impactful initiatives such as the G7 Impact Taskforce and The Trilateral Commission in Canada. She holds many prestigious honours including the Order of Canada and the L茅gion d'Honneur (France).
Ms. Leroux succeeds Mr. Jacques Bougie, who admirably chaired the Neuro Advisory Board from 2011 to 2023. Jacques鈥� many contributions and strategic guidance have been instrumental to our success. Jacques remains a member of the board and co-chair of our major fundraising campaign.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Jacques and warmly welcome Ms. Leroux as she embraces her new role. Her strategic insights and guidance will be instrumental as we advance our mission and continue to create an environment for our community 鈥� patients, staff and trainees 鈥� to thrive.
