Dean Yolande E. Chan has been chosen by the Association for Information Systems (AIS) as a 2023 recipient of the prestigious AIS LEO Award. The awards were announced at the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) on December 11, 2023, held in Hyderabad, India.

The department would like to congratulate FEMR staff Kelly Sears and Jeannie Mui on receiving the Technologist Award from the Microscopy Society of Canada for 2019 and 2021, respectively.

The Technologist Award recognizes those who have made significant contributions to the advancement of microscopy research or training. Congratulations to Kelly and Jeannie!

Wah茅hshon Whitebean and Cheyenne Neszo have been named recipients of Rathlyn Fellowships. Awarded annually through the Indigenous Studies Program at 平特五不中, Rathlyn Fellowships support Indigenous graduate students at 平特五不中 in their studies and research. Each Fellowships is worth $15,000.

The Rathlyn Fellowship is given out each year through the Indigenous Studies Program at 平特五不中.
