The award-winning Canadian soprano and conductor Barbara Hannigan is slated to virtually visit Schulich鈥檚 Voice Area! An artist at the forefront of creation, Hannigan is known for her performances of contemporary opera. She has shown a profound commitment to the music of our time and has performed premieres of over 85 new works.
ReVoice guest Alexander Lloyd Blake discusses inclusive and authentic choral programming

Shawn Mativetsky鈥檚 new book RUDIMENTAAL
Prof.听Shawn Mativetsky has released 鈥橰UDIMENTAAL鈥, a collection of rudimental snare drum pieces inspired by the tabla drumming of North India. By bridging together two principal percussion instruments and their respective musical traditions, the book works as a gateway into North Indian drumming for drummers and percussionists from all backgrounds.

When 平特五不中 announced that Fall 2020 activities will be offered predominantly through remote delivery, Schulich鈥檚 professors went to work preparing innovative new courses that would temporarily replace most large and small ensembles.
