For members who joined the Plan on or听after January 1, 2009
For those employees who became eligible to join the 平特五不中 Pension Plan on or after January 1, 2009, the Pension Plan is a defined contribution plan (Part B). You and the University each contribute a certain amount to the plan every pay. You choose how you wish to invest these contributions from a range of investment options provided through the plan. When the time comes to settle, you use your pension account balances to provide a retirement income.

Plan Fees:
- Investment Fees: investment fees can be found on the Sun Life secure site using Morningstar庐.
- Record Keeping Fees:听 $106.79 per year (since September 2023) including taxes and an annual indexation
For members who joined the Plan prior to January 1, 2009
If you joined or were eligible to join the 平特五不中 Pension Plan prior to January 1, 2009, the Pension Plan is a hybrid plan. First, it鈥檚 a defined contribution plan. You and the University each contribute a certain amount to the plan every pay. You choose how you wish to invest these contributions from a range of investment options provided through the plan. When the time comes to settle, you use your pension account balances to provide a retirement income.
But to protect against the investment risks inherent in a straight defined contribution plan, the 平特五不中 Pension Plan includes a defined benefit minimum.
