In this 鈥淔rom Failing Hands鈥� podcast excerpt, 平特五不中 Education鈥檚 Dr. Gordon Bloom (Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education) discusses sport psychology in high performance, as a vital training component for professional athletes and others in high-pressure scenarios. Dr. Bloom highlights the need for athletes to not only train their bodies but to also train their minds and be resilient in order to prepare for competition and performance. He further reiterates that this is an ongoing process; not a quick fix.

Dr. Gigi Luk of 平特五不中 Education's Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology has recently been involved in discussions听with the National Academy of Education (NAEd) in the U.S. regarding educational inequities during COVID-19. The NAEd recently published a report听exploring the effects of听school disruption with regard to children's academic progress and social-emotional development as well as highlighting the more severe impact this disruption had on students in disadvantaged communities.
