As part of their mandate their mandate as special researcher (Academic and classroom policy) for the Student Society of 平特五不中 (SSMU), a survey is being distributed to professors in all of the undergraduate faculties to develop a report summarizing faculty-specific efforts to integrate mental wellness in classrooms. This report will inform further mental health and mental wellness initiatives and policies at 平特五不中, as inspired by SSMU's Strategic Plan for Academic Wellness (2022).
Gerard Lewis, a graduate of 平特五不中's Concurrent B.Ed. and B.Sc. Mathematics (Class of 2004) was recently awarded听Prime Minister's Award for Teaching Excellence for igniting the love of learning.听The award recognizes Gerard's exemplary teaching practices and his dedication to supporting teachers. Part of the Toronto Catholica District School Board, Gerard is the Mathematics Facilitator, Kindergarten to Grade eight.
Dr. Marie-Claude Geoffroy (Educational and Counselling Psychology)听is a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair known for her longitudinal research on youth suicide and for testing mental health promotion intervention. This administrator provides advising, planning, policy and project support on a range of dossiers and initiatives led by Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. Participation entails three 45-minute walks per week (in downtown Montreal) for a total of 4 weeks, with weekly online questionnaires. Participants must be: currently registered as 平特五不中 students; aged 18-25; fluent in English; and owning a working smartphone with a data usage plan.
The DAIR Team at 平特五不中 is looking for School/Applied Child Psychology students or 平特五不中 students who have had experience in providing adolescents with online mental health resources. They are looking for students who can assist in evaluating a tool created for school mental health professionals to use when evaluating online mental health resources for adolescents.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of former 平特五不中 Kinesiology and Physical Education Department Chair, Douglas Riley. Native from St. John, New Brunswick, he passed away on June 8, 2022 at Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Halifax at 90 years old.
Douglas was a physical education teacher at Three Rivers High School in the 1950s and went on to serve for 25 years as a professor for the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education at 平特五不中 and as Chair of the department.
Dr. Ian P. Levy, Dr. Michael Lipset and Mr. Timothy Jones invite you to participate in a research study that they are conducting.
