On Friday March 10th, the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education (KPE) hosted the 2023 Minds in Motion (MIM) conference, open to undergraduate and graduate students completing research in the field of KPE. Dianea Phillips, BEd鈥85, was 40 years old when she experienced her first zero-gravity flight.

Associate Professor Philip S. S. Howard (DISE) publishes new monograph with the University of Toronto Press, entitled: Performing Postracialism: Reflections on Antiblackness, Nation, and Education through Contemporary Blackface in Canada.聽 This book is one of the outputs from his SSHRC funded research into contemporary blackface in Canada.
The Rideau Hall Foundation (RHF) is at the beginning stages of work to support dramatically increasing the numbers of First Nations, Inuit, and M茅tis teachers by 10,000 and to promote the systemic changes necessary in leading to more sustainable Indigenous teacher employment opportunities in all areas of the country.
