Antonia Hern谩ndez is a FRQSC postdoctoral fellow (2021-2023) in the Department of Art History and Communication Studies at 平特五不中. Her work explores the infrastructural dimension of intimacy, combining theoretical investigation with arts-based practices to understand the fleshy, living, and domestic aspects of media. She has presented her work and research-creation methodologies widely at conferences, exhibitions, and artist talks, and is preparing a book on the poetics of sex webcam platforms. Her current research, under the supervision of Dr. Carrie Rentschler, interrogates how discourses on money and intimacy have distinct structural enactments on commercial platforms and the ways people navigate those constraints.
