About the Outaouais Region
The Outaouais region, located in the southwest corner of Quebec, has a population of about 392,000. It听is bordered to the northwest by Abitibi-T茅miscamingue, to the east by the Laurentians and to the southwest by Ontario with the Outaouais River flowing between Gatineau and Ottawa. Gatineau is a bustling hub and Quebec鈥檚 fourth largest city.
