Teaching Assistant Positions

Applicants must be students registered in a ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ graduate program.

Teaching Assistants will be required on campus to perform their tasks in person. 

How to Apply:

Internal Applicants:

  • Internal applicants: ²Ñ³¦³Ò¾±±ô±ôÌý±ð³¾±è±ô´Ç²â±ð±ð²õ who currently hold an active contract at ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ.
  • Refer to the job aid 
    • Internal applicants are to apply within Workday by typing Find Jobs in the search field.
  • Important: You MUST first connect to ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ's VPN before you login to Workday ().

External Applicants:

  • External applicants are applicants who do not currently hold an active contract at ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ.
  • Refer to the job aid
    • Navigate to the and create a Workday Candidate Home Account.
    • Create your Workday Candidate Home Account with your personal email address. Do not create your account with a ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ email if you have one.
    • Applicants must use their legal names when creating their Workday Candidate Home account.
  • Important: You MUST first connect to ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ's VPN before you login to Workday ().

International students must have a valid study permit, Social Insurance number (SIN), and Canadian bank account.

Important Note: International Students

International students must have a valid Canadian Social Insurance Number to work as a teaching assistant (or other employment on campus). To apply for a Social Insurance Number, you will need to present your Visa/Study Permit at your local Service Canada Centre after arrival in Canada, before starting work.
