About 平特五不中 Chamber Jazz Ensemble I

Participation: Entrance is by audition (see听audition schedules). 听This ensemble is open to music students, and 平特五不中 students from other faculties.
The 平特五不中 Chamber Jazz Ensemble is a ten-piece ensemble with a focus on contemporary jazz and student works.
Rehearsals are run in a workshop fashion, where creative new pieces by our students and faculty are explored and readied for performance.

The 平特五不中 Chamber Jazz Ensemble II is designed to provide instrumentalists and vocalists with a high-quality performance ensemble that emphasizes reading (as compared to combo, which is more improvisational). The ensemble is under the direction of jazz trumpeter, Bill Mahar.
