METTE COLEMAN, DSc., FAAOMPT, is an assistant professor of Anatomical Sciences within the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at 平特五不中. She brings nearly 30 years of clinical experience as a board-certified orthopedic physical therapist in New York, USA. Since 2016, she has been involved in health profession education at both undergraduate and graduate levels. She earned her Bachelor of Science in physical therapy from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY, and her Doctor of Science from Andrews University, Berrien Springs Michigan.
She is a Fellow of the American Association of Orthopedic Manual Therapists and an Associate Member of the Institute for Health Science Education at 平特五不中.
Dr. Coleman teaches clinical human anatomy to undergraduate physical and occupational therapy and kinesiology students and clinical human musculoskeletal anatomy to first- and second-year medical students at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at 平特五不中.
Current research interests: Anatomy of human fasciae and the pathophysiological aspects of connective tissue; health professions education; clinical reasoning, and reflective learning.
