Guests and Seating

Each graduate will receive 4 guest tickets to their ceremony. There is no cost for these tickets and they are all general admission. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. The ceremonies are live-streamed so additional family and guests can watch from venues off campus. On May 22, graduates will receive an email message with important details on how to reserve their tickets at their 平特五不中 email address.


The Venue

Spring 2024 Convocation听ceremonies will be held听at the , with the exception of the ceremonies for the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, which are held at the University's , in the Centennial Centre.听

Graduands are asked to arrive at their ceremony venue听ONE HOUR听产别蹿辞谤别听the ceremony. Convocation ushers will be onsite to show graduands where they can prepare for the ceremony. Once all the graduands have been let in, family and guests will be welcomed into the venue.听

Getting to the Venue

Public Transit and Parking

For the Downtown ceremonies, please consult the for their guide on parking and public transit. Details about parking at the Bell Centre for the Convocation ceremonies can be found in the email communication sent to all graduating students on May 22nd. The best option is to leave your car at home and avoid the traffic in the city core. Montreal has many one-way streets and traffic customs you may be unfamiliar with. All street signs will be in French.

Public transportation in the city is handled by the Soci茅t茅 de transport de Montr茅al ().

Fares:

$3.75 for one trip; $7.00 for two.
Unlimited evening pass (6:00pm-5:00am): $6.00.
Day pass (24 hours): $11.00.
3-day pass: $21.25.
Unlimited weekend pass: $15.25.

If you are arriving from the airport on the , you will already possess a 24-hour day metro/bus pass. Guests arriving by airplane can consult this for information on how to get to the city from the airport.

Bike share

is a public bicycle-sharing program originating in Montreal. The base rate of unlocking a bike for a one-way pass costs $1.35, plus an extra fee of 20 cents per minute while riding a regular bike or 35 cents per minute while riding an electric one. Bikes can be checked out and subsequently returned to any of the hundreds of in the city, including one just outside of the Bell Centre on Rue Saint-Antoine Ouest.

Convocation is committed to being as accessible and barrier-free as possible for students, faculty, and guests.听

For the Downtown ceremonies, please see the Bell Centre's and their webpage related to . Ushers will be available on site to assist any guests with mobility issues to get to accessible seats, and wheelchairs are available for guests if needed. Please ask your guests to notify the ushers of their needs upon arrival to the venue.
