Setting up ODBC for Excel
Complete the following steps in order to set up the ODBC data source needed to connect to the warehouse using Excel:
1) Go to your control panel
2) Select Administrative Tools
3) Select Data Sources (ODBC)
4) Select the "System DSN" tab
5) Click on the "ADD" button
6) Select the "Microsoft ODBC for Oracle" driver
7) In the pop up box enter BANREP in every box except the user name box (put your warehouse userid or leave blank)
8) The next time you start Excel, you should see the BANREP connection as one of the options.
