Stay on Track Program 2020-2021
From 2020-2021, everyone had to adapt to remote learning. The fact that students were learning through their screen, either at home or somewhere other than the classroom, made staying motivated and meeting deadlines that much harder. To help support this reality, the Faculty of Engineering and the 平特五不中 Teaching and Learning Services offered an innovative peer-to-peer program, called鈥疭tay on Track. The purpose was to keep students focused and motivated as they progressed through the school year. Based on needs, students could choose to participate in one or more tracks, each with different levels of involvement.
Stay on Track is now run through Teaching and Learning Services as a university-wide program.
Track A - Digital-only objectives with reminders
You set your learning and wellbeing objectives with your Academic Student Coach. Each day you receive a reminder to help you meet your objectives. Once you are ready, reminders can become weekly.
Track B - Check-ins with your coach and optional digital reminders
After an initial session where you and your coach set your learning and wellbeing objectives, you will have a weekly check-in to discuss progress and barriers. You can also opt to receive daily digital reminders of your objectives.
Track C - Peer study group and optional digital reminders
Fight isolation by joining a study group where you can meet regularly in a virtual study hall. You can motivate each other and hold one another accountable even if you are working on different projects. You can also opt to receive daily digital reminders of your objectives.
