Media Spotlight: Maria Ezcurra

Maria Ezcurra, founder of the 平特五不中 Art Hive Initiative and Art Instructor, was presented Wednesday with the Visual Arts Diversity Award for 2019 by the Conseil des arts de Montr茅al. The award recognizes originality and diversity in the Montreal visual arts scene. Maria creates a committed art that evokes the memory, the gender, the feminine condition, the history, the culture, the migration and social norms.

OFNIE Students From Northern Quebec Unite at Fall Convocation

Whereas the commute for most 平特五不中 students who are convocating in the fall is just a bus, metro, or car ride away to Place des Arts, the students from the Office of First Nations and Inuit Education (OFNIE) had a bigger journey to contend with. Alumni Highlight: KPE Grads in 2019 Olympic Hall of Fame!

This year's inductees into the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame include聽Faculty of Education alumni from the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education, who were part of the 2010 Vancouver Olympic women's hockey team.聽Goaltenders Charline Labont茅 (B.Ed '11, M.SportPsych '15) and Kim St. Pierre (B.Kin '04) were on hand along with Peter Smith (B.Ed '79, M.SportPsych '86), who served as an assistant coach for the gold medal team.
