Lean Startup

Lean Startup is designed to train, educate, and empower early-stage startups and aspiring entrepreneurs that are looking to transform their idea into a viable startup concept. Through weekly workshops and personalized mentorship, participants will be introduced to the world of entrepreneurship and acquire tangible tools to establish the foundations of a sustainable startup.

  • Introduction to the entrepreneurial journey

  • Understand your market and articulate your value proposition

  • Design your minimum viable product and test its viability

  • Craft and communicate the key elements of a business plan

  • Establish realizable goals for your start-up

Program format

Dates: October 8 - November 26, 2024

Time: Tuesdays, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Hybrid program: sessions will be virtual and in-person at the Dobson Centre to accommodate our global network of speakers and mentors.

Who is this program for?

We welcome teams with:

  • at least one ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ affiliated co-founder e.g., student, faculty, staff or alumni (graduated within the last 10 years).

  • one technical co-founder, who can build your business upon a technology, science, or idea that is significantly or radically disruptive.

  • multi-disciplinary professionals (including learners or graduates) working towards validating your concept, creating a business plan, and launching your start-up.

  • commitment to attend all the workshops and executing the project work (required to maintain your participation in the program).
