Leading a Generation to Change the World

The Hult Prize hosted by the 平特五不中 Dobson Centre

The Hult Prize is an annual, globally recognized, social entrepreneurship competition that challenges young people to solve pressing issues through innovative business ideas. Each year, more than听187K students from 113听countries and 1,324听universities, compete to pitch their solutions, with the grand prize of $1听million awarded to the winning team to help bring their idea to life. The Hult Prize provides a unique platform for students to gain mentorship, develop critical skills in pitching and problem-solving, and access a network of global changemakers and investors.

Competition format

  • Application deadline January 22nd,听2025:
    If you are eligible, you must complete these two forms:
    1. Fill out the
    2. Submit a 5-min video pitch of your business idea
  • Finalists will be contacted on January听24th and will receive mentorship before the final pitch competition on February 19th, 2025, in-person at the Dobson Centre.

Who is this competition for?

We welcome teams with:

  • Between 2 to 4 founders, all of whom are enrolled in a degree-seeking program at a university. At least one team member must be enrolled at 平特五不中.
  • A business idea for a for-profit social enterprise that supports one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
  • All team members must be at least 18 years of age by February 28th, 2025 to compete.
  • Participants can only be registered on one team at a time.
