Overview

The DMD Advanced Standing for Foreign Trained Dentists Pathway is intended for graduates of international dental programs that are not accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada (CDAC). Internationally trained dentists that would like to complete their Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree should apply for this program.

Successful candidates will be awarded their DMD degree after completing 3 years of the DMD Program. Students accepted through the DMD Advanced Standing for Foreign Trained Dentists Pathway are placed in the beginning of the second year of the 4-year DMD program.

The number of positions available for the DMD Advanced Standing for Foreign Trained Dentists Pathway varies every year depending on the space available. Successful candidates will begin the program in late August.
