Congratulations to (KPE, BSc '16) who joins a 20-member entourage of 平特五不中 students and graduates headed to Tokyo to serve in an official capacity at the Games of the XXXII Olympiad, July 23 to Aug. 8. The athletes mark the highest number of 平特五不中ians slated to compete at the Summer Games since 2008 in Beijing, when 11 represented the Montreal institution.

In the latest issue of Our Schools/Our Selves, two articles were published related to Law 21.

One is a first person account written by second year B.Ed student Jana Naguib on her feelings about the Law as a Teacher Education student who wears hijab.

The other, co-authored by DISE Professor Bronwen Low and colleagues with the OFDE, reports on the findings of a province-wide survey on the impact of Law 21 on faculties of education.

As part of the Bicentennial Celebrations, faculties, central units, associations, and unions were asked to nominate the Unsung Heroes in their department; the less-recognized faculty and staff who have walked the halls of 平特五不中 through the ages and who have greatly helped shape the community. Nominated by a colleague, the Faculty of Education's Greg Reid (Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education) was featured as a hero on June 15th for his significant contribution to research and teachings in the field of adapted physical activity.听
