Joe Levitan, PhD. Assistant Professor and Graduate Program Director in DISE, was recently awarded an honorary doctorate from the Association of Postgraduate Researchers of Peru (AMADO Pero), a Unesco recognized research organization, for his community-based participatory action research work to improve the quality of education in Peru.

Dianea Phillips, BEd鈥85, was 40 years old when she experienced her first zero-gravity flight.
鈥淚 fell in love with aerospace,鈥 recalls Phillips, a Certified Aerospace Educator. 鈥淚f it spins or flies, I love it. If it changes matter, even better!鈥
Phillips鈥檚 zero-gravity flight was the culmination of her participation in the U.S. Space and Rocket Center鈥檚 10-day Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama, where she lived and trained like an astronaut alongside participants from around the world.
Associate Professor Philip S. S. Howard (DISE) publishes new monograph with the University of Toronto Press, entitled: Performing Postracialism: Reflections on Antiblackness, Nation, and Education through Contemporary Blackface in Canada.听 This book is one of the outputs from his SSHRC funded research into contemporary blackface in Canada.

As CEO of Paper, Philip used his transferable skills as a classroom teacher to establish an on-demand online tutoring service. Paper has supported 3,000,000 students throughout the United States and will be collaborating with 平特五不中 Education on research in the EdTech field. Philip is also a member of 平特五不中 Education's Faculty Advisory Board (FAB), as a philanthropic ambassador for the Faculty.

This administrator provides advising, planning, policy and project support on a range of dossiers and initiatives led by Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. This includes providing support in the preparation of planning documents, project reports, briefing notes, data analysis and presentations. Dr. Marie-Claude Geoffroy's lab is looking for participants for the Walking for Wellbeing Research Project.
Participation entails three 45-minute walks per week (in downtown Montreal) for a total of 4 weeks, with weekly online questionnaires. Participants must be: currently registered as 平特五不中 students; aged 18-25; fluent in English; and owning a working smartphone with a data usage plan.
The DAIR Team at 平特五不中 is looking for School/Applied Child Psychology students or 平特五不中 students who have had experience in providing adolescents with online mental health resources. They are looking for students who can assist in evaluating a tool created for school mental health professionals to use when evaluating online mental health resources for adolescents.
