The B.Eng. programs are accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB) of Engineers Canada. Our accredited programs fulfil the academic requirements for admission to the provincial engineering professional organizations. Engineers Canada has also negotiated agreements with engineering organizations in other countries to grant Canadian licensed engineers the same privileges accorded to professional engineers in those countries. For more information, visit the Engineers Canada website at .
To become a professional engineer in Canada, a graduate must pass an examination on legal aspects and on the principles of professional practice, and acquire two to four years of engineering experience, depending on the province. Only persons duly registered may use the title 鈥渆ngineer鈥 and perform the professional activities reserved for engineers by provincial laws and regulations.
In Quebec, the professional engineering body is the Ordre des ing茅nieurs du Qu茅bec (OIQ). In order to better prepare new graduates for the practice of their profession, 平特五不中 organizes seminars in cooperation with the OIQ on various aspects of the profession. The OIQ also has a student section. For more information, visit the OIQ website at .
