Basic Cardiac Life Support

Basic Cardiac Life Support

You must provide (by July 31 of the year in which you are commencing undergraduate dental education) proof of certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), level C or C+, and automated external defibrillation (AED) training. The CPR/AED certification must be valid for at least the first year of your studies. Students are responsible for mainitaining valid certification for the duration of the program.

Certification must be granted, or fully recognized, by any of the following organizations:

  • The Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
  • The Quebec Heart and Stroke Foundation
  • The Canadian Red Cross
  • St. John Ambulance Canada
  • The American Heart Association
  • The American Red Cross

Compulsory Immunization Program

Compulsory Immunization Program

You are required to complete the immunization form for review by ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ's Student Wellness Hub as soon as possible and by no later than July 31 of the year in which you are commencing the undergraduate dental education program. For the purposes of verification of compliance with the immunization requirements, you grant permission to the Office of Admissions to securely share your student health information with the Student Wellness Hub.

Access the Dentistry tab at the bottom of the Student Wellness Hub's Vaccines page to download your immunization form. Upload your completed, signed, and verified form, with all supporting documentation, to the Student Wellness Hub's portal. Once it is reviewed and approved, the Student Wellness Hub will send an email confirming completion of the Immunization Program. You may be required to meet with a Student Wellness Hub representative if follow-up or additional information is required.
