The Student Affairs Office, located in Laird Hall, Room 106, provides a wide variety of academic services. These include information about admission (prerequisites and program requirements), academic standing, examinations (deferrals, conflicts, rereads), exchange programs, inter-faculty transfers, program changes, registration (course change, withdrawals), scholarships (entrance and in-course), second degrees, second majors, minors, session away, and graduation (convocation).

In addition to tuition fees and the cost of accommodation and meals, you should be prepared to spend a minimum of $1,000 (depending on your program) on prescribed textbooks and classroom supplies. These may be purchased at the in the Centennial Centre.
Uniforms are required for food laboratories. If you are in the B.Sc.(Nutr.Sc.) program, you will be advised of the uniform requirements on acceptance or promotion.
Immunization for Dietetics Majors
Immunization for Dietetics Majors
As a student in the Dietetics Major, you are required to initiate and complete the Compulsory Immunization Program for Health Care Students in Fall of U1, in the NUTR 208 Professional Practice Stage 1A course. Students will meet with our health nurse at the beginning of U1 and should have all previous vaccination records available at that time. Participation in any further Professional Practice (Stage) courses in the Dietetics program will only be permitted if all immunization requirements are complete. Quebec law requires that candidates seeking admission to provincially recognized Quebec professional corporations or Ordres have a working knowledge of the French language, i.e., be able to communicate verbally and in writing in that language. Agrologists, chemists, dietitians, and engineers are among those within this group.
