Summer Courses in Italy

COURSES TAUGHT IN FLORENCE, ITALY

The Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, in conjunction with other departments and the University of Florence, offers up to 12 credits of courses to be given in Florence, Italy, during the months of May, June, and July 2015. The deadline for applying to the program is April 2, 2015.

Note: All courses in Florence require permit overrides to register on Minerva. These permits will be issued after April 2, 2015, by Ms. Vanna Fonsato or Dr. Enrica Quaroni only to students who have applied and paid course fees. Students will have the opportunity to register for the following Summer courses:

  • ITAL 307 TOPICS IN ITALIAN CULTURE (3 credits) / PHIL 397 TUTORIAL 01 (3 credits)
  • (May 11–June 5, 2015, taught in English by Matteo Soranzo and Marguerite Deslauriers. Topic for Summer 2015: Talking of Love in Renaissance Italy.)
  • ITAL 309 PERSPECTIVES ON ITALY (3 credits)
