Fran莽ais langue 茅trang猫re : A comprehensive introduction to basic vocabulary, grammatical structures and speech patterns of written and oral French for students in any degree program having no previous knowledge of French. Learning to communicate at a functional level in a French social milieu, short essays, cultural readings, mandatory lab practice and conversation class.

Restriction: Not open to students who have taken FRSL 201 or FRSL 205
Students must register for both FRSL 101D1 and FRSL 101D2.
No credit will be given for this course unless both FRSL 101D1 and FRSL 101D2 are successfully completed in consecutive terms
FRSL 101D1 and FRSL 101D2 together are equivalent to FRSL 101
