Overview
The Office of the Deputy Provost (Student Life and Learning) provides direct support to student societies and groups, including monitoring compliance with their Memorandum聽of Agreement聽(MOA), responding to questions and requests, and facilitating fee referendums.
There are currently four University-level and nine faculty-level student societies, as well as six University-recognized special-interest groups.
Student societies and special-interest groups are required to submit the following documents annually:
- Audited Financial Statements
- Proof of Insurance
- Declaration of Incorporation
Memorandum聽of Agreement (MOA)
A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) is a document outlining the relationship between a student association and the University. This document typically lasts five years, and the renewal of an MOA is overseen by the Office of the Deputy Provost (Student Life and Learning) in coordination with Legal Services.
