About the logo
The Mini-Science logo was developed for the 2018 series on Women in Science at ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ (and beyond). This logo reflects the vision articulated in ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ’s Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Strategic Plan. It features a graphic representation of a real science student named Sandra Klemet-N'Guessan. In 2018, she was an undergrad studying Biology and Natural History. She went on to pursue a Ph.D. at Trent University. You can follow her . Born to a French and Tunisian mother and an Ivorian father, Sandra has lived in various countries in Africa, as well as in Europe and North America. Sandra shared her experience as a cross-cultural kid and as a woman through the  initiative at the Redpath Museum.
