Four 平特五不中 projects receive SSHRC Partnership Engage Grants

SSHRC invests over $80k in new 平特五不中 research projects through the Partnership Engage Grants competition, two of which are directly related to COVID-19 research.

Recently, the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) announced the recipients of its latest competition of Partnership Engage Grants, as well as recipients of its Special Initiative COVID-19 grant competition. Four 平特五不中 researchers received funding through Partnership Engage grants for their projects, two of which received grants under the Special Initiative COVID-19 competition.

Partnership Engage Grants provide short-term and timely support for partnered research activities between postsecondary-based researchers and single partner organizations from the public, private or non-profit sector. These partnerships allow non-academic organizations and postsecondary researchers to access each other鈥檚 unique knowledge, expertise and capabilities on topics of mutual interest.

The Partnership Engage Grants COVID-19 Special Initiative provides short-term and timely support for small-scale, stakeholder-driven partnerships, allowing researchers and their partners to address urgent COVID-19 crisis related issues, challenges or opportunities through knowledge exchange.

Rachel Langevin, Assistant Professor at the Department of Educational & Counselling Psychology, is the principal investigator.

COVID-19 - Shift: Documenting the Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Peer Researchers in Community-Based HIV Research and Identifying Opportunities for Change - $24,229

Zack Marshall, Assistant Professor at the School of Social Work, is the principal investigator.
