Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Insight Grant Information Session

This session will be hosted virtually 鈥 link and password will be provided to those who RSVP

The purpose of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Insight Grant Program is to provide support to research initiative of two to five years in duration, for both emerging and established scholars in the social sciences and humanities.

Researchers in the social sciences and humanities, arts, and literature who are planning to apply to the upcoming SSHRC Insight Grants competition are encouraged to attend this information session, which will include:

  • A presentation about the objectives and application requirements of the SSHRC Insight Grants program by Joanna Mastalerek and Biljana Vasilevska, Grants and Agreements Officers, OSR;
  • Presentations from Dr. Pierre-Emmanuel Moyse, Associate Professor (Law), and Dr. Lindsay Holmgren, Associate Professor (Desautels Faculty of Management), who will provide potential applicants with information about the peer-review system and strategies for preparing a successful Insight Grant proposal;
  • A question and answer period where participants will be encouraged to raise any questions they may have about the program or the application process.
