Tuesday, August 2, 2022 10:00to12:00

This session will be hosted on Zoom 鈥 link and password will be provided to those who RSVP.

The purpose of this program is to foster the emergence of new research niches in all scientific fields covered by FRQNT and enhance the ability of Quebec researchers to compete in federal competitions by carrying out innovative projects; to promote the pooling of researchers with the complementary expertise needed to carry out a research project, and to provide a conducive environment to high-caliber student training and supervision.

Researchers with projects in the natural sciences, mathematical sciences and engineering who are planning to apply to the upcoming FRQNT Team Research Project competition (2023-2024) are encouraged to attend this information session, which will include:

  • A presentation about the objectives and application requirements of the FRQNT Team Grants program by Michelle Picard-Aitken, Senior Grants and Agreements Officer, and Agnes Wong, Grants and Agreements Officer, OSR;
  • A presentation on tips and best practices for preparing a successful FRQNT Team grant application by Prof. Thomas Szkopek (Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering).
  • A question and answer period where participants will be encouraged to raise any questions they may have about the program or the application process.

Please be aware that the FRQNT has made several changes to the program this year, including changes affecting the eligibility of the Principal Investigator and the minimum number of co-investigators. See the 鈥淐aract茅ristiques鈥 and 鈥淎dmissibilit茅鈥 sections (currently available in French only) of the when determining your team composition.
