Dr. Guichard is professor of Biology at 平特五不中. He is聽also the co-director of the Centre for Applied Mathematics in Bioscience and聽Medicine (CAMBAM), and of the laboratory of mathematical biology聽at the Centre聽de Recherches Math茅matiques (CRM). He received the Prix Strat茅gique FRQNT and聽the Centennial Research Award from the McDonnell Foundation. He is actively聽involved in large collaborative聽networks including The Canadian Healthy Oceans聽Network (CHONe). His research focuses on non-equilibrium dynamics of聽spatially-structured ecosystems, with an emphasis on marine coastal ecosystems.聽His聽group combines mathematical and computational approaches to the development聽of ecological theories, and the analysis of large datasets. His research has聽direct implications for the design of marine reserve聽networks.
