Developmental Science

The goal of developmental science research is threefold: (a) to describe the course of psychological development in typically and atypically developing children, (b) to understand how physical, psychological, and social factors influence this development, and (c) to understand psychological functioning in adults by examining its developmental origins. These goals are realized by faculty researchers, and often carried out in collaboration with a major children's hospital and with a centre for research on learning disabilities.听
