Coverage applies while carrying out your clinical duties in accordance with the program listed on your Coll猫ge des M茅decins (鈥淐MQ鈥�) training card.

RAMQ-funded trainees:
- you are automatically covered under your base hospital's malpractice insurance.
听
Non-RAMQ-funded trainees:
- registered in a program which is 2 years in length or longer: you are automatically covered under your base hospital's malpractice insurance.
- registered in a program which is less than 2 years in length: you must obtain malpractice insurance through the CMPA. Please apply for and send a copy of your malpractice insurance coverage confirmation to dataprocessing.med [at] mcgill.ca before the first day of your training.
