#Consent平特五不中

The #Consent平特五不中 campaign began as a university-wide educational initiative in 2014. The campaign is designed to create a dialogue about and increase the understanding of consent, healthy relationships, and sexual violence prevention as well as present opportunities for connection and support through diverse healing activities.

Through its unique approach, the campaign addresses consent in the context of day-to-day life as well as in sexual relationships. By promoting the three key principles of consent (Ask, Listen and Respect), the campaign strives to empower community members to have healthy and respectful relationships.

Some of the campaign highlights included Persephone Bound, a play co-produced by Imago Theatre and the Screaming Goat Collective. This intensely visceral play explores the meaning of consent through the lens of a contemporary retelling of the Greek myth of Persephone. The O-SVRSE organized awareness-raising activities across campus, including the Becoming an Active Bystander and Responding to Disclosures workshops. Other activities included trauma-sensitive yoga classes, walking tours to familiarize participants with resources for survivors at 平特五不中 in the community, self-expression through art workshops, free STI testing, and participation in the Montreal March for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women.

2016 highlights

Using a clever (and even at times funny) dance analogy, viewers are shown how to Ask, Listen, and Respect consent and to look out for their friends.

2015 highlights

The 2nd annual #Consent平特五不中 campaign featured interactive workshops, a panel on consent, the 鈥淚 practice consent by鈥︹ social media event, two promotional videos entitled: and the , bilingual posters and postcards, give-away kits and educational booths set up around campus.
