Incoming U1

To note:

For your 120 credit (ie. 4yr) B.A., you're U1 if you are commencing in the B.A. with 24 or more credits of advanced standing (see below):

• You are exempt听from the Arts Freshman/Foundation Year Program
• You are eligible to听choose your Major/Minor/Honours programs when registering for your first semester
• Consult with your program/departmental advisors to confirm whether you are taking the right introductory courses for your academic programs.

Typical scenarios:

1. You're entering with听30 credits of advanced standing听from:
   • CEGEP
   • French Baccalaureate
   • European Baccalaureate
   • Some Bologna-compliant high school programs听
2. You're entering with at least 24 credits of advanced standing based on your examination results听from:
   • International Baccalaureate Diploma or听Certificates (IB)
   • Advanced Level (AL)
   • Advanced Placement (AP)听exams
   • Refer to the
3. You've听completed university courses at another institution听prior to entering 平特五不中, and have received advanced standing for听your degree.听
   • As part of the Admissions process, you must submit transcripts from all previous studies.听
   • Eligible advanced standing credits will be recorded on your transcript as general (TRNS XXX)听transfer credit.听
