Yvonne Hung was brought in as an Academic Associate to oversee Graphos, the 平特五不中 Writing Centre鈥檚 graduate-focused communication program. Since 2015, she has been responsible for developing and coordinating credit courses on written and oral communication and designing or delivering workshops, writing retreats, peer writing groups, and other writing support. Her work is informed by her training in writing pedagogy, including WAC/WID, during her doctoral studies in Environmental Psychology and her previous experience in research, evaluation, training and development in New York City, Berlin, and Los Angeles.

Since joining the Writing Centre, Dr. Hung has been an invited speaker on the topic of 鈥Engaged Science鈥 at the 2016 Canadian Association for Neuroscience, a co-organizer of a panel for ACFAS in 2017 called 鈥Produire et partager le savoir en fran莽ais : situation actuelle, enjeux et d茅fis鈥 and a speaker at a 2020 鈥Careers in Higher Education鈥 panel organized by 平特五不中鈥檚 Career Planning Service. In addition to developing disciplinary-focused graduate courses for the Faculty of Law, the Food Science department, and the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Science, she also regularly teaches writing workshops on thesis writing, preparing a literature review, titles and abstracts, and fellowship writing. Over the last several years, Dr. Hung has also collaborated with Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies to prepare graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to write competitive fellowship applications and created publication writing support for faculty and clinical researchers at the Ingram School of Nursing.
