Biography:
Established in 2003 by friends and former students as the Lubka Kolessa Piano Scholarship, and transformed into a scholarship in 2014 with a generous lead donation by pianists and 平特五不中 music graduates Luba Zuk and Ireneus Zuk in honour of their mentor, Lubka Kolessa, renowned international concert pianist of Ukrainian origin and 平特五不中 Faculty of Music professor from 1960-1971. Awarded by the Schulich School of Music Scholarships Committee to an outstanding undergraduate piano student entering his/her senior year of study.
