Alumn Eric Abramovitz appointed associate principal clarinet of Toronto Symphony Orchestra

Congratulations to Eric Abramovitz (B.Mus 2016), who was recently appointed as the associate principal/Eb clarinet of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO). We spoke to him in a recent email exchange about how studying at Schulich prepared him for this position.

Simone McIntosh to appear in Vancouver Opera lead role

Simone McIntosh (M.Mus 2017) continues her streak of successes with an upcoming appearance singing the title role in听Rossini's "La Cenerentola." The production, which will be put on by Vancouver Opera in the spring, will be McIntosh's first mainstage appearance in a lead role.

"Women, Work and Song" at Marvin Duchow Library

An exciting new exhibit can be explored through the Marvin Duchow Library at 平特五不中听鈥 "Women, Work and Song in Nineteeth-Century France."

The exhibit explores the evolving role of women in the popular song industry of the era, and includes many pieces from the 19th-century French sheet music collection of the Library.听
