Class of Medicine 1991 Travel Award

Established in 2017 by the Class of Medicine 1991, on the occasion of their 25th anniversary reunion, to help address important disparities in health care for Indigenous populations by encouraging exposure to such communities at an early stage of medical training.

Awarded by the Faculty of Medicine to provide travel support for one or more MDCM students interested in completing a rotation in an Indigenous community. In any given academic year, any remaining funds may be awarded to residents who are completing a rotation or part of a rotation in an Indigenous community.
