The Transformation of Peacekeeping Operations into Civilian Protection Operations
Fr茅d茅ric M茅gret is an Associate Professor of Law and Canada Research Chair in the Law of Human Rights and Legal Pluralism at 平特五不中.聽 Outside of the academy, Prof. M茅gret has worked for the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Rome Conference on the Creation of an International Criminal Court.聽 He has also served as a sharpshooter for UNPROFOR in Sarajevo in 1995.
Fr茅d茅ric M茅gret is the author of Le Tribunal penal international pour le Rwanda (The International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda) published by Pedone (2002). He has also published a number of articles on human rights, the United Nations, and international criminal law in both European and North American journals.
He will be presenting his current research on the difficult and complicated transition from traditional UN peacekeeping operations to 鈥渃ivilian protection operations.鈥
