ITCOM communicates IT-related announcements, delivers IT training, supports user adoption of ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ provisioned IT tools/systems, and provides web publication services to the ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ community. Key services include the following:
- IT Training & Communications (managed by Uma Viswanathan) develops and delivers training for IT-related systems, tools, and services, and promotes awareness of IT-related services, events and initiatives.
- IT People Change Management (managed by Manon Van der Puijl)Â develops people change management strategies and plans for IT projects.
- IT Web Services Group (managed by Matt Corks) provides and maintains ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ’s Web Management System (WMS) based on Drupal Multisite (serving hundreds of websites for groups across ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ, including the ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ homepage and top-level pages), provides guidance and support to website managers and administrators throughout ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ, as well as develops and maintains custom modules.
Account Manager for Communications and External Relations
The account managers are the primary contact for their respective stakeholders. They provide regular updates on the progress of IT initiatives, engage in proactive discussions concerning stakeholders’ business vision, requirements, and priorities, and inform about upcoming IT trends. Account managers also help streamline the fulfillment of clients’ IT needs by engaging the right IT team at the right time.
