Local Wellness Advisor (Faculty of Education)
Local Wellness Advisor (LWAs)听are trained mental health听clinicians embedded within faculties and services听to orient and connect you with the appropriate support resource听- on-campus or off-campus听-听for your unique situation. With similar educational backgrounds to counsellors,听LWAs also facilitate听wellness programming听tailored听to your faculty or identified community and work with departments on wellness听awareness,听prevention听and听early intervention.听Local Wellness Advisors each offer targeted mental health听workshops, wellness听outreach听through our social media channels, as well as听one-on-one听appointments.听听 听听
Students in the Faculty of Education can book an appointment with any number of Wellness Advisors:
- Local Wellness Advisor: Faculty of Education (for undergraduate and graduate students in Education)
- Local Wellness Advisor: Graduate & Postdoctoral Students (GPS) (for master's, doctoral, and postdoctoral students in Education)
- Community-based Wellness Advisor (e.g. for听2S&LGBTQIA+, BI & POC, Residences, International, Varsity students)

The 平特五不中 Student Wellness Hub, is our students' go to for accessing basic physical and mental health services. Our team includes doctors (general practitioners), nurses, psychiatrists, counsellors, social workers, and dietitians, as well health promotion and outreach staff.
