For visiting PhD applicants to receive a virtual pre-paid credit card, the following steps must be taken:

  1. The GPC or GPD must complete the webform听at least 2 weeks prior to the prospective student鈥檚 arrival;
  2. GPS confirms to unit approval of request;
  3. If approved, the GPC or GPD must confirm student's arrival听to graduatefunding.gps [at] mcgill.ca;听
  4. GPS emails the virtual prepaid credit card with听instructions directly to student.

Please note that we can no longer reimburse students directly. All reimbursements will be made by pre-paid credit card only. For any questions regarding the Canadian Doctoral Recruitment Visits, contact graduatefunding.gps [at] mcgill.ca.
