How do I register for Global Health Night 2024?

Please note that the in-person Poster Fair and Keynote Lecture are now fully booked. Due to limited room capacity, only guests with confirmed in-person registrations will be admitted. I鈥檓 unsure which email address I used to register for Global Health Night. What do I do?

  • Try searching for your Global Health Night registration confirmation email in your various email accounts in order to determine which email address you used to register for Global Health Night.
  • The email address you used to RSVP will have received an email from the address globalhealthteam.dgph [at] mcgill.ca with the subject line: 鈥淩eminder: Global Health Night 2024" or "Reminder: Join Global Health Night 2024 Online"
  • That message may have landed in your spam folder.

I registered for in-person but I cannot be there at 4:30 PM EST. Can I still join?

  • Yes! You can browse the Student Poster Fair at anytime between 4:30-6:00 PM.
  • The main program, including keynote speaker, will begin at 6:00 PM.

Will the Student Poster Fair will have an online component?

The Student Poster Fair is only available in person this year.

How do I find a specific poster?

A poster directory will be available near the entrance of the Student Poster Fair.

Can I watch the keynote address online?

Yes you can on . The recording will remain available for 24 hours after the event.

Can I pose questions to the keynote speakers?

Yes, you can (link will be live as of 4:30 PM ET

Is there an online version of Global Health Night 2024?

Those attending Global Health Night 2024 online will be able to ask the keynote speakers questions during the event using an online form (link to be posted beforehand). Those attending Global Health Night 2024 in-person will be invited to pose their questions during the moderated Q&A session following the keynote lectures.

I missed the livestream. Can I watch a recording?

Yes, you can on . The recording will remain available for 24 hours after the event.

What COVID-19 precautions will be in place for the in-person event?

  • Masks are encouraged and will be provided to attendees.
  • Physical distancing is recommended to the greatest extent possible.
  • Hand sanitizer will be provided to attendees.
  • We expect all attendees to please respect coughing and sneezing etiquette.
  • Also, if you are feeling sick, please stay home and participate online.
