Lawrence Kazak, Ph.D., Principal Investigator at the Rosalind and Morris Goodman Cancer Institute (GCI), has been recognized with the听听award from the Canadian Physiological Society. This award, named for renowned physiologist and 平特五不中 alumni James A. F. Stevenson, offers a visiting professorship to an outstanding early-career physiologist in Canada. Prof. Kazak will present his award lecture at the听听in Long Beach, California.
The focus of the听听is understanding energy metabolism in physiology and disease, with research interests extending to cancer cell metabolism and immunity. His cutting-edge research and distinction as an outstanding young investigator prompted his nomination for this award.
